Bridging the gap in cloud storage
Sharevia is a web application connecting cloud storage providers like Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. , focusing on documentation, legal, accounting, and other niche areas that require seamless file sharing across different platforms. Sharevia allows users to share folders across different storage providers without leaving their original platforms, ensuring smooth and synchronized collaboration between companies using different cloud services. The project emerged from a collaboration between Eagerworks and Firm Studio

Challenge
Many companies, especially in legal and design industries, often need to share documents and files across different cloud platforms. This created a need for a solution that could enable seamless sharing and synchronization between these providers. Integrating and synchronizing existing folder structures from different cloud services posed a significant technical challenge, particularly in maintaining synchronization without disrupting the user experience.
Solution
Eagerworks and Firm Studio joined forces to develop a web application built using Ruby on Rails and leveraging Rclone for folder synchronization.
The synchronization between different cloud storage providers ensures that any changes made in the shared folder are reflected across both users' storage accounts.
Outcome
Sharevia successfully addressed the need for a unified file-sharing solution across different cloud platforms. The collaboration between Eagerworks and Firm Studio allowed for rapid development and refinement of the product.
Sharevia provides a solution for companies in legal, design, and other sectors that require seamless cross-platform collaboration.
Eagerworks provided the technical expertise to accelerate the project, finalize key features, and polish details, such as implementing subscription payments to support the transition to production.
