Transforming a sponsorship service into a scalable tech platform.
Campus Multimedia specializes in sponsor sales, acting as an intermediary between educational institutions and businesses looking to advertise. Their platform, Sponsorplace, streamlines the process of connecting schools and brands for effective sponsorship opportunities. We worked as partners with Firm Studio to address their main pain points and transition this startup from a service provider into a robust tech product.
Challenge
The challenge faced by Campus Multimedia was to reduce operational costs and simplify interactions between schools and brands, minimizing manual interventions.
The primary need was to develop a platform able to facilitate the uploading and showcasing of sponsorship spaces by schools while allowing brands to easily browse and select opportunities across various campuses.
Solution
To address these challenges, together with Firm Studio we developed Sponsorplace, a robust platform built using Ruby on Rails. The platform enables schools to upload and list their available sponsorship spaces, showcased on their respective pages. Brands can access a comprehensive list of opportunities from different schools, facilitating easy browsing and selection.
Sponsorplace also includes features to track content, manage printing processes, and coordinate logistics between schools and brands.
Outcome
The implementation of Sponsorplace led to several positive outcomes for Campus Multimedia. Firstly, it allowed schools and brands to interact seamlessly, reducing the need for manual interventions and improving overall efficiency. The platform's ability to handle complex processes such as creating sponsorship packages, accepting donations, and managing various types of sponsorship spaces enhanced its utility.
The objective of taking on more clients without scaling operations extensively was achieved, showcasing the platform's scalability and effectiveness in meeting business objectives.
